On 2 September 2024, Astute Founder Nhu-Hoang Tran Thang had the privilege of co-teaching the opening session of the Credit Course on Investment Arbitration organized by the Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution of the National Law University, Dehli.
This comprehensive course equips participants with both theoretical and practical skills necessary for investor-state arbitration. It explores the complexities of investment arbitration, examining foundational principles, contemporary practices, and emerging trends. The goal is to provide students with a robust understanding of both the theoretical and practical dimensions of international investment law.
In the introductory session, Nhu-Hoang Tran Thang, alongside renowned arbitrator and arbitration thought leader Prof. Pierre Tercier, presented to approximately 100 engaged students. Together, they discussed the formal and informal sources of international investment law, highlighting the intricate interplay between these sources—an aspect unique to the field.
Astute Dispute Resolution is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to both the academic and practical discourse on arbitration, fostering a bridge between theory and real-world application.
